Cookies and Consent
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, pixels and device identifiers. They may keep a service secure, remember choices, measure use or enable third-party media.
2. How we use them
- Strictly necessary: security, authentication, load balancing, form protection, network management and recording a privacy choice. These are used because they are necessary to provide a service you request or for our legitimate security purposes.
- Preferences: remember optional settings such as language or display choices.
- Analytics: help us understand aggregate use and improve performance.
- External media or marketing: enable optional third-party video, social or advertising features.
Where the law requires consent, preferences, analytics and external-media or marketing technologies stay disabled until you choose to allow them. Refusing optional cookies must not prevent core use of the website.
3. Current Sparrway cookie inventory

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept all” or allow analytics in the cookie settings.
4. Third-party technologies
Optional third-party services may set their own cookies when enabled. In particular, a YouTube or Vimeo video should load only after the relevant consent. Payment providers, app stores, identity providers and analytics providers may also use technologies under their own notices.
| Provider | Purpose | Data location/policy | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) | Visit statistics, only with your consent | European Union and United States; Google Privacy Policy | Up to 2 years |
| Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited) | Protects the site forms from spam and automated abuse; loads on pages with a form | European Union and United States; Google Privacy Policy | Up to 6 months |
5. Your choices
When the banner appears, choose “Only essential” or “Accept all”. You can change or withdraw an optional consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop sign-in or security features from working. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardised. Where legally required, Sparrway will recognise Global Privacy Control for sale, sharing or targeted-advertising opt-outs.
6. Legal basis and personal information
We use strictly necessary technologies to provide requested functionality and protect the Services. We rely on consent for non-essential cookies where required by ePrivacy, PECR or similar laws. Information collected through these technologies is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy when technologies, providers or laws change. We will revise the date above and request consent again where a change requires it.
8. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy may be sent to info@sparrway.com or to Reckon Labs Limited, Workhub, 6 Fern Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18, D18 FP98, Ireland.
